Overview
Base pay range: $26.00/hr - $26.00/hr. The Registered Nurse – Clinic/Wellness/Immunization works in a variety of either remote or clinic locations to serve a specific population's health and wellness needs. The RN demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments effectively and efficiently to provide quality care in accordance with facility policies and protocols. Sites include community or employment immunization clinics, wellness clinics, job safety and workers compensation sites, and travel health clinics for pediatric to geriatric populations. Responsibilities
Provide immunizations to adults and children. Assess and treat clients with sexually transmitted infections; provide birth control. Assess and monitor TB clients; provide education in communicable diseases. Make clinical judgments to deliver appropriate care in line with policies and protocols. Work various shifts as assigned (e.g., M-F Days). Minimum Requirements
Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices One year of experience as a nurse in a clinic or immunization setting preferred Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Benefits
