Medical Coding Specialist
to join their team. This is a
full-time, in-office position (not remote). Overview
As a Medical Coding Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring coding accuracy, compliance, and clean claim submissions in a busy, collaborative healthcare environment. You will work closely with providers, billing, and coding teams to support high-quality patient care through precise documentation and coding practices. What You’ll Do
Assign accurate
ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
and modifiers. Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and medical necessity requirements. Submit clean claims and prepare appeals for coding denials. Collaborate with providers, clinical, and billing staff to resolve coding issues. Maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in a high-volume environment. What We’re Looking For
Active AAPC CPC certification (required). Minimum
2 years of medical coding experience. Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently. Familiarity with EHR systems and Microsoft Office. Compensation
$25–$36 per hour, depending on experience and education. Location
