Job Summary We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Audiologist to perform comprehensive hearing tests. Our ideal candidate will conduct audiological evaluations, proficiently analyze data, and prepare a report that will be used as part of the process to evaluate the disabled individual’s application for Social Security benefits.
Position Details
Schedule: Part-time, 2 days per week
Location: Based in Bronx, NY; may include occasional travel to Hartsdale and Manhattan
Compensation: $35–$40 per evaluation (up to 4 evaluations per hour)
Responsibilities
Medical Evaluations: Perform in-depth audiological assessments, including gathering audiometry, tympanometry, and hearing aid evaluations of applicants.
Diagnostic Interpretation: Analyze and interpret diagnostic tests and medical data.
Report Writing: Create a comprehensive medical report including accurate and complete descriptions of the applicant’s condition(s).
Data Submission: Utilize our user-friendly report generation platform to submit your report quickly and easily.
Qualifications
Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree.
Valid state audiology licensure and certification.
Proficiency in audiometric testing and evaluation.
Experience in a medical office setting or private practice is preferred.
