A Cardiovascular Surgical Support Technologist plays a critical role in supporting anesthesiologists and surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures. This position involves preparing, operating, and maintaining anesthesia equipment, monitoring patients, and ensuring a sterile and safe operating environment. The technician works collaboratively in high-pressure settings to contribute to successful patient outcomes. Responsibilities
Prepare, operate, and maintain anesthesia equipment; monitor patients; ensure a sterile and safe operating environment; collaborate with surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures. Education
Bachelors degree in a science related field or graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology program REQUIRED. Certification/Licensure
BLS Certification Required Experience
Prior CSS, sterilization, or central sterile processing experience strongly preferred Benefits

In addition to the high-quality heart program at Sentara Heart Hospital, the facility is home to Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and several other dedicated facilities and specialized services.
