The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the construction, commissioning, and operation of a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Jonesville, SC. In this highly visible role, you will have the opportunity to impact the planning, development, and implementation of plant operations. You will drive strategic and operational initiatives including Plant P&L, growth strategy, and leading a 700+ person team to meet and exceed short and long-term business goals. You will foster an environment of engagement and inclusion for all employees, acting with advocacy, empathy, and accountability. Essential Functions
Lead the planning, construction, and commissioning of the new plant. Develop short- and long-term plans aligned with strategic and profit objectives to drive operational excellence and financial results. Lead the operational management team and functional staff. Establish objectives and drive KPIs across the organization, ensuring continuous improvement. Utilize Lean/Six Sigma tools (Kaizen, VSM, 5S+) to lead cost improvement initiatives. Champion a workplace focused on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to promote a zero-incident safety culture. Focus on quality, early detection, and escalation to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance. Create a customer-centric culture, ensuring responsiveness to customer needs and issues. Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems, fostering a culture of innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Qualifications and Experience
Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution; MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive responsibility in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, or OPEX roles. 5+ years as a Plant Manager. Experience with CTO (Configure to Order) and ETO (Engineering to Order). Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing experience. Proven P&L leadership with strong business acumen. Knowledge of current manufacturing technologies and systems. Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. At Eaton, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The salary range for this role is $176,249.97 - $258,499.96, and it is eligible for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based on skills, experience, and market considerations.
