We are seeking a Sr Technical Project Manager, Battery, to join the Powertrain Programs team. The candidate is an experienced program manager and/or systems engineer with high voltage battery product experience, strong organization, and the ability to coordinate with engineering teams and stakeholders for seamless technical program development. Effective communication ensures teams stay aligned with milestones and delivery expectations, with senior management informed of critical issues and concise action plans. Our ideal candidate demonstrates a can-do attitude and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, complex environment. Responsibilities

Manage the engineering development process for high voltage battery products, leading a cross-functional team including battery systems, mechanical & electrical hardware, embedded software, prototype build, test & validation, and manufacturing engineering. Develop and maintain the product development timeline and resource requirements. Drive high voltage battery program activities in alignment with the development timeline, including requirements definition, supplier selection, design release, prototyping, engineering testing, process development, DV & PV testing, APQP, and related activities. Make key technical, timing, and supplier decisions that impact system delivery; address blockers and drive resolution. Own and resolve blockers across technical, supplier, organizational, and manufacturing domains, escalating as needed with management teams. Develop and maintain the high voltage battery roadmap (variants, product improvements, supplier changes) and assess impacts on specs, validation, manufacturing, and cost. Define and implement new processes to improve delivery of engineering projects. Qualifications

8+ years of relevant work experience. Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field (Master’s preferred). Strong understanding of automotive product development from concept to series production. Experience with high voltage battery systems and electric vehicles; strong technical fundamentals. Systems engineering approach and ability to align cross-functional teams. Experience with APQP/PPAP, staged gate milestones, and driving to completion. Familiarity with DV, DFMEA, PV development, product launches, and quality/problem-solving tools (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, DFMEA). Experience building and managing program management tools and processes; excellent communication and collaboration in a high-speed, complex environment. Strong organizational and delegation skills with a track record of delivering on time; ability to inspire confidence at executive and engineering levels. Analytical, data-driven decision making; ability to facilitate team decisions and coordinate action plans. Salary and Benefits
