Join SCA as a CDL B Driver. Location: 390 East Gish Rd., San Jose, CA. Starting Pay: $23 per hour. Hours: Sunday through Thursday from 8 PM to 4:30 AM. Route: Dublin area; work from our satellite office in Dublin. allows you to get paid as you earn. Job Summary
SCA is seeking experienced CDL B drivers with air brake endorsement. The Driver will operate a Broom Sweeper Truck or a Dump Truck/Follow Truck to provide prompt service on scheduled routes, including new housing developments, local cities, and road construction. The Broom Truck removes debris such as asphalt millings, mud, and highway debris; the Follow Truck tows an attenuator housing the arrow board to help divert traffic around the Broom Sweeper. Key Responsibilities
Perform required inspection of Broom Sweeper / Dump Truck (Pre-trip, In-trip, Post-trip). Review scheduled routes; be proactive in clarifying any unclear details. Safely operate a Broom Sweeper / Dump Truck. Complete assigned jobs within the time allotted while maintaining quality of work. Exercise extra caution during inclement weather. Report any equipment failures, near misses, or accidents to Lead or Supervisor within 8 hours. Over-night travel may be required. Perform other duties as assigned. CDL Class B license Clean driving record DOT Medical Card Ability to work in outdoor environments and in variable weather conditions Exposure to noise, vibrations, jarring, fumes, grease, oil, and chemicals Active physical work including lifting (50+ lbs), carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, walking, standing, and operating equipment for extended periods Clear focus, depth perception, and vision Use of safety equipment and regular use of hands to operate tools and controls Additional Perks & Benefits
