Job Overview
Location : FV Southdale Hospital, Edina MN
Hours : 80 hours bi-weekly
Schedule : day shift
As a member of the Shared Clinical Services team, the Department Business Coordinator uses strong customer service, organization, project management and Microsoft office skills and knowledge to anticipate business needs and provide day-to-day operational support in assigned areas. This may include project coordination, data collection and reporting, administrative support, and budget management. This position may also be involved in meeting coordination and facilitation as assigned.
Responsibilities
Using exceptional collaboration, presentation, communication, and organizational skills:
Create and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, acting as a liaison between operational units to accomplish organizational goals and objectives
Use available technology to provide day-to-day operational support to assigned area
Manage data collection, budgeting, and recordkeeping to meet compliance, regulatory or operational needs
Assure stakeholders are kept informed and are included in the preparation for any planned changes in services, programs, processes, and systems as assigned.
Assist in managing projects through entire life cycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure
Required Qualifications
B.S./B.A. in business, healthcare, pharmacy or another related subject or the equivalent of a combination of 6 years education and/or experience.
2 years administrative or office management experience using available Microsoft Office to provide day-to-day administrative support.
For employees working in a Pharmacy site only: Must be nationally certified within 1 Year.
Preferred Qualifications
3 years experience managing multiple projects and priorities including coordinating day-to-day business operations.
