Overview As a Cyber Mission Specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations and know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We’re looking for someone to apply skills in system or network endpoint security tools, cyber threat information, developing operations plans, or system or network monitoring tools to impact our nation’s security, defense, and warfighting ability.

Responsibilities

Help understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses and the effectiveness of mitigations for cybersecurity solutions.

Collaborate with the team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to the Air Force or Space Force.

Use research and analysis skills to assess and inform operators and senior leadership or commanders on adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for Air Force or Space Force clients.

Contribute to the development of operations plans to support command and control.

Engage with Air Force or Space Force clients to influence critical global cyber missions.

You Have

Experience providing cybersecurity, engineering, or operational support, including information assurance, network engineering, or systems administration.

Experience evaluating the compliance of a system against RMF and DoD cybersecurity policies.

Experience with DoD A&A processes and cybersecurity engineering.

Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and implementation of industry best practices.

Secret clearance.

HS diploma or GED.

DoD 8140 Certification such as CompTIA Security+, Cloud+, CySA+, CASP+, SANS GSEC, or ISC2 CGRC Certification.

Nice If You Have

Experience with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).

Experience with enterprise networks, Active Directory, Linux, or Windows.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent time management and analytical skills.

Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation and Benefits Salary range: The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD).
