Role Overview
The Sourcing Strategist/Senior Buyer will assist the Senior Director of Supply Chain with sourcing and purchasing of materials, driving continuous internal procurement improvement, supplier performance, and relationship management.
A Sample Of What You'll Do In This Role
Interact with plant managers at all manufacturing facilities in the US and Canada, planning and creating purchase orders for raw materials, packaging materials, and indirect spending.
Work closely at a detailed level with suppliers and manufacturing locations, monitoring inbound raw material movements, resolving day-to-day material flow deviations, and reconciling purchasing/invoicing discrepancies as they arise.
Assist the Senior Director of Supply Chain in requesting and researching new suppliers, and evaluating suppliers, bids, costs, and quality.
Prepare cost sheets for sales management across each of the businesses.
What You Bring To This Role
5+ years of experience in purchasing and supply chain roles, in a manufacturing environment (chemical manufacturing preferred).
Experience with ERP systems and skilled in Material Management modules (MRP/Purchasing).
Skills in Excel.
APICS - CPIM or equivalent certification is preferred.
BS in Supply Chain, Business, or similar degree required.

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $102,800 - $144,020. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
