Leverage planning tools and BI platforms (DRP, Excel, SQL, Power BI) to visualize trends and track forecast performance.

Incorporate input from Sales and Category teams on upcoming promotions, new product introductions (NPIs), and regional shifts in demand.

Flag exceptions such as chronic under‑forecasting, overstock risk, and demand anomalies; recommend corrective actions.

Partner with IT and Analytics to refine demand models and enhance system‑generated forecasts using machine learning or historical regression techniques.

Support inventory conversion planning for product transitions, branch rollouts, and network optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field; APICS/IBF certification is a plus.

2+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory analytics within distribution or retail.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas), SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).

Experience with demand planning or ERP systems such as PTC Servigistics, JD Edwards, SAP, or similar.

Knowledge of SIOP or IBP process preferred.
