Regional Planning SME

Jabil is seeking a Regional Planning SME to be based onsite at any US Jabil location. The role is responsible for driving standardization, continuous improvement, and functional excellence in planning processes, systems, and talent development. The Regional Planning SME will lead cross-functional planning initiatives, coach regional teams, and ensure alignment with global best practices to deliver world-class service levels, operational efficiency, and profitability. Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the regional subject matter expert in standardized materials planning processes. Lead the implementation and optimization of planning systems and applications across multiple sites. Coach, mentor, and train planning teams to build technical capability and foster a continuous learning culture. Monitor and analyze key planning metrics to ensure operational control and performance. Conduct internal audits to validate planning process compliance and identify improvement opportunities. Drive standardization, simplification, and optimization of planning processes using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Collaborate with global planning teams to develop and share data-driven best practices. Lead complex planning-focused projects to improve systems and processes. Support Lean initiatives by ensuring data integrity and process discipline within planning functions. Comply with all company policies, including security and safety standards. Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Minimum 12 years of experience, including 3+ years in materials planning. Proven track record in project leadership, change management, and continuous improvement. Strong understanding of planning systems, methodologies, and manufacturing operations. Familiarity with Jabil Operating System (JOS) and quality systems preferred. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, and planning software tools. Ability to travel 50% across Jabil sites. Preferred Certifications:
