Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy to achieve departmental awareness among internal and external stakeholders about programs and services across all Programs of Study and Pathways. Collaborate with campus leadership and departmental peers to facilitate the incorporation of work-based learning and career-connected learning into the classroom. Design and execute digital marketing campaigns, including social media and website deployment, to inform campus leadership, parents and students of CTE career options available within the District. Ensure instructional and informational materials are available in a variety of formats to maximize use in student learning experiences. Organize and manage industry advisory boards to maximize industry partner relationships for leveraging career-connected learning experiences with students in the classroom and outside settings. Maintain and distribute labor market data used by counselors and CTE teachers to advise students on required courses, degrees and industry-based certifications for gainful employment. Collaborate with industry partners and Workforce Coordinators to create student-led competitions in STEM, Information Technology, Business Marketing and Finance, and other areas as needed. Facilitate the design and management of Salesforce to capture all industry partner engagements across all CTE programs. Mentor junior departmental staff to enhance awareness of Career Programs within the District and support professional skills development. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required. 3-5 years of direct Marketing and Communication experience required. 2+ years of indirect Employee Management, Salesforce experience. Awareness of Dallas ISD communication channels and content outlets for department exposure. 2+ years of experience analyzing labor market data. Knowledge and experience with project management frameworks and best practices. Ability to strategize and execute to achieve outcomes within specified time constraints. Ability to engage external parties and build relationships. Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and take direction as needed. Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in communication strategies and data analysis. Job Details
