From highways and utilities to large-scale municipal infrastructure, you'll take full ownership of the project lifecycle-from pre-construction through closeout. Project Planning & Execution Develop detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Oversee execution of civil construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to plans. Coordinate with engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers. Team Leadership Manage project teams including field and office personnel. Define responsibilities and expectations while promoting a strong team culture. Support career development and mentoring on-site. Stakeholder Communication Build strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and consultants. Provide timely project updates and resolve issues proactively. Ensure all deliverables meet client specifications and deadlines. Financial Oversight Manage and track budgets, cost reports, and job costing. Review change orders and submittals; enforce contract compliance. Address deviations from budget and implement corrective strategies. Quality & Safety Management Enforce site safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Maintain high standards of workmanship through regular inspections and audits. Documentation & Reporting Maintain contracts, permits, submittals, and change logs. Provide detailed reporting to senior management on financials, progress, and risks. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in civil construction project management (highways, roads, utilities) Experience with DOT, municipal, and public works projects Familiar with contracts, permitting, inspections, and documentation processes Proficient in Primavera P6 or MS Project for scheduling Hands-on knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities, structures, and paving Comfortable with Vista, B2W, Project Site, HCSS, or similar construction software Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred Benefits
