This role will provide the opportunity to work on designprojects, including bridges, marine and waterfront structures.As the Senior Project Manager, you will serve as the technical lead in design projects. You will provide leadership in client management, proposal preparation, project scoping, and estimating project costs as well as mentoring other engineers in the office.This position offers creative individuals the space to thrive. This role offers a flexible schedule. Typical Duties and Responsibilities: Provideleadership on multiple projects of varying size and complexity. Provideleadership to project teams and support staff. Serveas project manager on complex projects and as designated client contact. Responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects. Maintainunderstanding of project financials. Regularly reviews schedules, deadlines, and budgets to ensure profitability. Leadthe pursuit process, including proposal preparation, project scoping, estimating project costs, contract negotiations, project planning, and project quality. Serveas a mentor for other project managers and technical staff. Assistin ensuring that external client focus is top priority of the region and those systems, processes, and activities that focus on the client at all levels of the region are implemented. Prepareagreements and contracts, sets project goals, fees, schedule, budget, and staffing needs. Provideexpertise in complex engineering computations involving conventional engineering practices. Ensureaccurate client billings, reviews invoices, and monitors outstanding accounts receivable. Actively observes and acts in an appropriate manner related to safety. Ensurethat staff needing specialized training in health and safety procedures and practices receives such training and that safety is discussed as an important aspect of their work. Other duties mas be assigned. *Relocation is available *The base salary will be estimated between $95,000 - $135,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience. Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or master’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited four-year university. Eight years or more progressive experience in project management. Experience in the inspection and/or design of, but not limited to, bridges, roadways, railroads, marinas, and/or ports. Maintains competency in and serves as major firm resource in field of expertise. Professional Engineer (P.E.) and/or Structural Engineer (S.E.) in the state of South Carolina or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
