Responsibilities
1. Transfer of Work – Germany to USA & Mexico (Primary Mission) Lead and coordinate the transfer of production activities from Germany to our locations in the USA and Mexico Coordinate the transfer of the supply base linked to the German site, including supplier onboarding, qualification, and alignment with Safran processes Oversee the PO management transfer, ensuring continuity of supply, proper migration of open orders, and avoidance of line stoppages Define and manage TOW project milestones, risks, and deliverables Ensure smooth ramp-up and industrial validation at receiving sites (FAI, etc.) Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, planning, quality, procurement, and operations 2. Dual Sourcing & Re-Sourcing Coordinate re-sourcing projects from initial assessment through supplier qualification and PO alignment Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, program, quality, and strategic purchasing 3. Project Management Establish and maintain the TOW project plan, action log, risk register, and KPI dashboard Anticipate and escalate risks (supply disruption, capacity, quality) with mitigation strategies Ensure compliance with quality, and regulatory requirements Provide regular reporting to Safran management on progress, risks, and decision points Detailed project plan covering TOW, supply base transfer, and PO migration Weekly dashboards and progress reports (delivery, quality, cost, risks) Supplier onboarding and qualification documentation Risk register with mitigation actions Lessons learned and continuous improvement report Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in automotive supplier quality and/or manufacturing operations. Qualifications
Demonstrated experience managing Transfer of Work projects in aerospace or a comparable industry Good knowledge of supply base transfer and PO migration processes Familiarity with supplier qualification, industrial validation, and ERP/MRP systems (M3 preferred) Solid project management skills with ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across geographies Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills Experience with dual sourcing / re-sourcing projects is a plus German language is a plus Location
Flexible schedule in Carson, CA with possible international travel (most likely Germany) Salary Range
$150,000 - $179,000 per year Notes
