Quality Assurance Associate
to our team. In this role, you will manage the logging, reproducing, distributing, storing, retrieving, and updating of electronic documents such as procedures, work instructions, forms, and records. You will also maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and related documents, working closely with Cesium managers, engineers, and cross-functional personnel.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Supports and facilitates process improvement training and improvement projects to drive business results across the organization
Maintains the Quality Management System (QMS) and all associated documents, files, and records
Controls and maintains engineering change and documentation tracking processes (BOMs, specifications, drawings, models, and related documentation) to ensure appropriate changes are documented
Coordinates part numbers for new parts or documents and tracks history, revision levels, and status throughout their lifecycle
Creates, implements, and finalizes engineering change orders (ECOs) and applies system changes
Ensures documents are properly reviewed, updated, approved, and released to remain in control
Supports QMS Management Reviews by writing reports and tracking actions
Supports corrective action and process improvement activities
Supports internal, external, and AS9100 quality audits
Assists in the resolution of audit findings, observations, and recommendations
Coordinates the QMS training program
Supports development and implementation of performance metrics
May provide guidance on Lean and/or Six Sigma principles, methodologies, and tools
Assists with other QA duties as assigned
Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience; formal education/training may be considered in lieu of experience
Strong experience with RCCA methodologies and tools
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
Excellent digital, written, and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
Associates or Bachelor’s degree
Experience in the aerospace or electronics industry
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
Experience with ERP and PLM software (preferably Acumatica and Arena)
Compensation:
$57,000 - $81,000 per year
