Are you an experienced leader who thrives on managing complex projects and guiding teams to success? Our client, a respected name in mechanical contracting, is looking for a Senior Plumbing Project Manager to lead major commercial and multi-family construction projects throughout the Tampa area. This is a key role for a proactive professional who can balance operational excellence, client satisfaction, and long-term team development.
What You’ll Be Doing
Oversee the full life cycle of multiple plumbing projects — from planning to closeout — ensuring financial targets, quality expectations, and timelines are met.
Lead and mentor project managers, assistant project managers, and engineers to foster professional growth and team performance.
Supervise field leadership, including scheduling, training, and performance management for plumbing supervisors.
Build and maintain lasting client partnerships through consistent communication, reliability, and service excellence.
Manage budgets, material procurement, scheduling, and field production for assigned projects.
Coordinate manpower and resources to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
Act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams — handling scope adjustments, conflict resolution, and project tracking.
Ensure all activities align with company safety, quality, and operational standards.
What You Bring
10+ years progressive project management experience within a plumbing or mechanical contracting environment.
Deep technical understanding of plumbing and hydronic piping systems for large-scale commercial, high-rise, or multi-family projects.
Proven track record of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Oracle, Accubid, or similar software is a plus.
Prior experience managing remote project teams is advantageous.
