Overview
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) PRN - Acute at Lifepoint Health. Facility: Kindred Hospital - North Florida. Schedule: PRN (as needed). This role supports the mission to make communities healthier by delivering high-quality care to patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs. How You\'ll Contribute
Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities to help patients recover and improve self-confidence. Communicate patient progress or problems to the supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges to patient records daily. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements. Instruct patients\' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition. Adhere to the Company\'s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws. Other duties as assigned. What We\'re Looking For / Qualifications
Graduate of a master\'s level program in Speech-Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements. Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology by ASHA. Minimum of six months of speech-language pathology experience with adult and geriatric populations. Current and unrestricted SLP license in the state where services are rendered. Current CPR certification. Strong organizational and communication skills. Benefits
