Emp Status Regular Full Time

Work Shift Not scheduled for weekend shifts or overnight call. Effective communication with outpatient staff and inpatient hospital teams is essential.

Compensation Range The base pay scale for this position is

$180,585.60 - $197,573.10 . In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. Salary is subject to evaluation.

What You Will Be Doing The PA will serve as a primary assistant to the doctor. Duties include clinical evaluation of patients in the office, counseling patients and families regarding proposed surgical procedures, addressing pre‑ and post‑operative patient questions, and acting in a surgical first assist role in the operating room. The PA will interact closely with office staff, other PAs, patients and families to be an integral part of high‑level clinical care and service.

Qualifications Graduation from an accredited PA program, current NYS PA license, BLS/ACLS certification, NCCPA board certification, current Infection Control Certification and completion of a child abuse recognition course. Excellent communication skills, team player, and surgical experience or training preferred.
