The Ultrasound Technologist IV, under the supervision of the technical supervisor and medical director, is proficient in performing routine and advanced ultrasound procedures as per department protocols. Responsibilities include obtaining high-quality diagnostic images, evaluating image quality, educating patients, documenting information accurately, and assisting in training less experienced technologists. The role may involve call responsibilities, scheduling, and supply management. In the Cardiology department, on-call duties require prompt response times. Qualifications
Associates degree or higher; graduate of an ARDMS-approved ultrasound program. Minimum of seven years of ultrasound experience, preferably in acute care. For Cardiology: experience with adult, neonatal, and pediatric cardiac ultrasound, stress echocardiograms, TEEs, intra-operative TEE, and bicycle stress echocardiograms. Certifications
BLS ARDMS registered in one or more specialties RCSAE or RCS certifications for cardiac sonography ARDMS-RVT for vascular lab About Hoag
