Overview

Responsibilities
Collects and documents assessment data. Develops a Plan of Care (POC) per standard. Implements POC including medical orders and interdisciplinary approach. Evaluates the progress of the patient toward attainment of desired outcomes. Provides effective patient/family education and discharge planning. Administers medication per standard and communicates information to patients and families. Acts as a resource and supports others; delivers patient care using the defined nursing modality. Delegates care based on UAMS standards, legal and regulatory requirements, and staff qualifications. Contributes to a positive work environment that supports clinical education and serves as a resource for student nurses and staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing. Valid RN License. One (1) year Registered Nursing experience. Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills. Strong work ethics and accountability. Preferred: 2 or more years nursing experience with current BLS. Previous experience in Perinatal/Mother-Baby.
Additional Information
Employees in this role must be fitted for, and able to wear, PPE including N95, PAPR, or CAPR.
