City: Charlottesville, VA Type: Travel Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Day shift Hours Per Week: 40 Starts: 2025-09-02 Base pay range: See pay details below Base pay range: CrossMed Healthcare is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse for an exciting Travel Nursing job in Charlottesville, VA. Start Date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. Pay: listed below. Gross Weekly Pay: $2,478.00 – $2,604.00 Location-based pay details are provided by CrossMed Healthcare Staffing; actual pay will be based on skills and experience. Responsibilities
Provide and coordinate patient care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures as required by unit standards. Monitor and evaluate patient status and responses to interventions; report outcomes. Transport patients as needed; maintain the cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies. Collaborate with the health care team and communicate effectively with other team members. Maintain safety and quality of care within unit guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
At minimum 1–2 years’ experience preferred. Graduate from an accredited school. Certifications may be required based on facility requirements. Physical abilities – remain stationary periodically; move and lift equipment (50–100 lbs); push, bend, and pull. Strong communication with health team members; patient care coordination. Transports patients as needed; monitors patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit. Monitors patients’ responses to interventions and reports outcomes. Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills
Interpersonal Skills – ability to work with diverse personnel with professionalism. Technical Skills – ability to grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating equipment. Cognitive Demands – capable of managing frequent interactions and meeting deadlines under pressure; comfortable with occasional close supervision or independent work. Sensory Skills – keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities. Benefits
