Description
We are currently seeking entry-level MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Gastroenterology. As a Gastroenterologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with digestive system disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality medical care and improving the overall health of our patients. You will be involved in a variety of gastroenterology projects, from conducting diagnostic procedures to developing treatment plans. Responsibilities
Conduct consultations with patients to discuss symptoms and medical history. Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies. Interpret test results and make accurate diagnoses. Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal conditions. Prescribe medication and recommend lifestyle changes to improve patient health. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology research and treatment methods. Requirements
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Empathy and compassion towards patients. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism. Valid medical license to practice in the state of Madisonville. Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, or 4-day workweek with 9-10 hour shifts Call Requirement:
10 days (including 1 weekend) per month Patient Volume:
25-30 on clinic days Cases:
General GI, EUS, ERCP, and procedures Support Staff:
NP Board Certification:
