Responsible for managing the daily operations, staffing, and patient flow of assigned nursing units to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery. This position collaborates with patients, families, physicians, administration, and associates to provide high-quality care. Additionally, this role oversees the implementation of policies and procedures, compliance with healthcare standards, and resource management to maintain optimal patient outcomes. This position develops and monitors the clinical integrity of assigned programs, supports staff development, and fosters a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities for this role include strategic planning, operational management, financial oversight, and maintaining respectful relationships with all contacts. The value you’ll bring to the team

Recruit, interview, and hire qualified nursing personnel to ensure adequate staffing levels. Provide ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge, including orientation programs for new staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations to assess staff competencies, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Address and resolve conflicts among staff members promptly and effectively, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Develop and manage the nursing unit's budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities to ensure efficient use of resources. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed

Bachelor’s of Nursing Required 1+ Work Experience Required Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required Registered Nurse (RN) Required Certification from a national organization Required Certification in area of specialty Required
