- Schedule:
- Pediatric CVICU Day: Monday-Friday 7am-6pm, Saturday & Sunday 7am-8pm; 5-7 consecutive shifts
- Pediatric CVICU Night: Monday-Friday 5pm-8am, Saturday & Sunday 7pm-8am; up to 4 consecutive shifts
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage non-invasive ventilation for neonates, including neo-puff
- Oversee ventilation management for newborns and acute cases
- Perform invasive ventilation management (endotracheal tube, nasotracheal tube, tracheostomy)
- Provide high-level pediatric cardiac critical care in a CVICU setting
Additional Information
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care or 10+ years of dedicated experience required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Must hold an active Louisiana license or qualify through IMLC
