A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized services in a K-12 school setting, focusing primarily on an elementary caseload. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year and requires 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating students from Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)/Pre-K through 5th grade who present with speech, language, and communication needs. The role involves developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and other SLPs, and monitoring student progress regularly. Working alongside two other Speech-Language Pathologists, this position offers support in managing a caseload of approximately 45-50 students.
Qualifications And Experience
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathology or Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience working with children in early childhood and elementary school settings preferred Proficiency in individualized therapy planning and progress monitoring Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with school-based speech pathology practices and educational regulations
