Education/Licensure: Master’s degree in related field required

Pay Grade: $70,200

Status: Full time, Monday-Wednesday 12pm-8pm on site; Thursday-Friday Flexible/Hybrid

About Us High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to prevent and treat substance use and mental health disorders. High Point has programs located throughout southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Masters Level Clinician Requirements

Must present as courteous and professional at all times

Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in a logical and clear fashion

Ability to work with others in a cooperative and collaborative manner

TB screening

Certification in the HPTC approved de-escalation program

Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

Basic computer skills and software knowledge including the ability to learn, use, and train HPTC 's electronic medical records

Leadership and program development within an outpatient site

Knowledge of major clinical therapeutic models and behavioral health best practice

Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication

Masters Level Clinician Duties And Responsibilities

Maintains and submits current licensure or certificate necessary for the performance of the position

Complies with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy, and HIPAA Regulations

Participates in Treatment Team Meetings

Crisis intervention and screening for patients at risk

Maintains assigned caseload

Provides direct care to patients including assessments, individual counseling, discharge planning, treatment plans, daily progress notes, daily groups, group note completion and bio-psychosocial assessments

Responsible for each assigned patient’s medical records are to be professional, complete and thorough with timely entries

Provides direct care including individual counseling, group facilitation, lectures, orientation for new patients, discharge and aftercare planning, and case management of patients assigned

Links patient with aftercare services prior to discharge and aids the patient and his/her family in accessing outpatient services when appropriate

Attends unit, facility meetings and case conferences as directed by the Clinical Director; attends mandatory trainings

Contacts insurance company for authorization as needed

Utilizes standards precautions at all times

Demonstrates behaviors that recognize patients’ rights

Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Program Director, Clinical Supervisor or Assistant Program

Masters Level Clinician Qualifications

Master/Doctoral degree in Human Services related field such as psychology or social work required

1 year working with youth
