Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Job with UNC Health Care in Durham, NC UNC Family Medicine at Southpoint is hiring an APP (PA/FNP). The practice offers the full spectrum of family-centered medical care, including preventive services, acute care, and in-office procedures at convenient times for families and working professionals. The UNC Physicians Network (UNCPN) provides a physician-led network with autonomy for practices and physicians within a strong system. Responsibilities
Provide adult and geriatric primary care and preventive services Manage bone health, cardiac care, cholesterol, diabetic care and education Perform in-office procedures and provide sick visits Deliver gynecological and obstetrical care, including prenatal care Offer preventive medicine and well-child visits Support asthma management and other chronic disease care Practice details
Practice hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm; Tuesday, Thursday 7:00am – 5:00pm. Position Qualifications
Family Medicine APP Licensed in North Carolina 2-plus years of experience Education & Licensure
Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in North Carolina Board certification if required by the department; DEA registration Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated clinical competency Effective leadership and strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong written/verbal communication and analytical skills Accurate documentation for billing and patient care Additional information
