AdventHealth The Cardiovascular Interventional Laboratory Specialist (CILS) I perform a wide range of technical skills, which are utilized during a variety of Cardiovascular, Non-ablation Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. The CILS I is proficient in two out of the three standard roles of scrub, circulate and monitor consistent with the policies, procedures and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration. Responsibilities
Follows CDC isolation guidelines, appropriately uses PPE, and performs hand hygiene according to accepted standards of care. Identifies and prepares patient using aseptic technique as dictated by procedure ordered. Exhibits awareness of hazards which may endanger patients. Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and enforces safety regulations. Annually meets all required department specific competencies Qualifications
High School Grad or Equiv and 0 years experience Diploma or Certificate: Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, Radiology, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapy Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert Basic Life Support - CPR Cert Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Mothly be certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must possess and maintain one of the following: Registered Nurse (RN) Radiologic Technologist [R.T.(R)] Respiratory Therapist (RRT) We are an equal opportunity employer and do not tolerate discrimination based on race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age or disability/handicap with respect to recruitment, selection, placement, promotion, wages, benefits and other terms and conditions of employment.
