Responsibilities
The Neonatal ICU Nurse provides, coordinates, and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem-solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally. $15,000 sign-on bonus offered for fully qualified new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible. Qualifications
Current California RN license One (1) year of experience in a Neonatal care setting as an RN Current NRP certification (must be certified through the American Heart Association) Current BLS certification (must be certified through the American Heart Association) Overview

Methodist Hospital is a 158-bed acute-care facility with 1,120 employees, 283 medical staff, and 29 Emergency Department beds. It also owns and operates Bruceville Terrace, a 171-bed, sub-acute skilled nursing long-term care facility adjacent to the hospital, providing care for the elderly and those requiring extended recoveries. Methodist Hospital hosts the Family Medicine Residency Program, an accredited, nationally recognized program providing specialty training in primary care family medicine. The hospital and residency program have implemented a groundbreaking curriculum addressing the identification, treatment, and assistance of human trafficking victims and created the Human Trafficking Medical Home, a unique health clinic for victims.
