BHNP in Western NC- Inpatient Only Your Healing Mission Matters As a Behavior Health Nurse Practitioner at Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, NC, you will be inspired by the community you serve as a valued member of the Lifepoint Health team, a nationally recognized healthcare organization committed to caring with a local heart. Position Details Haywood Regional Medical Center, a Duke LifePoint facility, is seeking an additional Behavior Health Nurse Practitioner. We have a 33 bed inpatient unit. Our units accommodate both Adult and Geriatric patients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a great multidisciplinary team that puts the patient first. Join an experienced PA, NP, and Psychiatrist who are willing to provide mentorship. Expectations for this position include the following: rounding daily on follow-up patients on both the Adult and Geriatric units; performing medical H&P's on adult and geriatric patients and offering basic medical consultation on admitted behavioral health patients; and to be available when necessary for infrequent behavioral health consults on the medical floor and in the ED. Call is shared equally and will be required for this position.
