Responsibilities
Full Time, Part-Time or Relief Veterinarian
Proficient in general medicine, surgery and dentistry
Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
Active veterinary state license
Current DEA License preferred but not required
USDA Accreditation preferred but not required

Special Working Conditions
Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods of time.
Ability to be confident around animals (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.).
Client needs and work volume may require more than 40 hours per week; may include weekends, evenings and/or holidays.
Must have reading, writing and speaking English proficiency to perform duties.
The noise level is moderately high; ear plugs available upon request.
Ambulatory skills to perform required duties; able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity to operate equipment.
Specific vision abilities required, including near, far, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Exposure to animals that may bite, kick or scratch; possible exposure to anesthesia, radiation, biological or zoonotic hazards and/or medication/controlled substances.
