This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position supports K-12 students within a public school setting in Kent, WA, for the current school year on a contract basis. The role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to enhance students\' communication skills and academic success.
Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to each student\'s needs.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students\' progress.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students\' speech and language goals.
Qualifications
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Valid school-based Speech-Language Pathologist certification.
Experience working with children in a K-12 educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school personnel.
Ability to manage caseload and maintain timely documentation.
