Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join Blue Cross Animal Hospital (Greenwich, CT). You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats; however, we also provide care for smaller animals. Daily responsibilities will include performing surgeries, treating wounds, prescribing medications, and spaying/neutering. Provide routine examinations Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment Perform surgeries including dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic Administer vaccinations Perform spay and neuter surgeries Prescribe medications Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being Update client records Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree Previous work experience as a veterinarian Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms Problem-solving skills Patience and a love for animals Benefits
