Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is looking for a talented Physical Therapy Assistant to support Physical Therapists in a physical therapy practice in conjunction with our orthopedic surgery practice. We are seeking an expert Physical Therapy Assistant with 2+ years of experience. Responsibilities
Deliver care within the scope of practice, as defined by state laws and the state Board of Physical Therapy Directly carry out day-to-day patient assignments with oversight and guidance by the Physical Therapist Provide physical therapy care in accordance with scope of practice, agency policies, and regulations Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, accreditation and local standards, rules and regulations Participate in personal professional growth and development Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordination and continuity of care Report changes to patient findings to the Physical Therapist and, where applicable, the physician Other duties as assigned Schedule
Monday to Friday with 2 evenings until 6:30p Requirements
Education: Associate degree (Preferred) Experience: Licensed PTA (1 year) preferred Language: Spanish (Preferred) License/Certification: Physical Therapy Assistant License or pending license (Required) Benefits
