ER RN Job Details – Dallas, TX Location: Dallas, TX 75230 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend required Hours per Week: 36 Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Start Date: September 29, 2025 End Date: December 29, 2025 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1460 - $1500 ER Registered Nurse Qualifications Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (temporary licenses not accepted) Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience At least 2 years of specialty experience in Emergency Department (ED) Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Charge nurse experience required Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system preferred Royal blue scrubs required Must comply with hospital dress code (no artificial nails, visible piercings other than ears, or extreme hairstyles/colors) ER Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy emergency department Serve as charge nurse as needed, managing staff and patient flow Accurately document patient care using Meditech (preferred) Respond rapidly to emergencies and perform critical interventions Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Float to other hospital units as required Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations Benefits 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision About GHR For over 30 years, GHR Healthcare has helped talented professionals find fulfilling roles in hospitals, clinics, and facilities nationwide.
