We are currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer III to join our growing team in Peachtree Corners, GA. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of related experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. Projects will span across multiple markets and geographies, affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to design projects. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter.
Responsibilities include applying controls theory to design, performing design calculations, valve sizing, redlining sketches for Designers and Engineers, and collaborating with team members to produce high quality work.
Experience And Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical or other Engineering from an accredited university
5+ years of related experience, preferably in an AEC environment
FE and/or PE License preferred, or desire to pursue PE Licensure
Experience using SKM, AutoCAD, and/or Revit preferred
Ability to perform design calculations
Experience with valve sizing
Strong understanding of controls theory and major controls system types
Proficiency in ladder logic and structured text programming preferred
Ability to redline sketches for Designers and Engineers
Strong professional written and oral communication skills
Ability to apply logic or scientific principles to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
Ability to travel roughly 15% (Position may require occasional travel to locations outside of the US, in these cases a valid US Passport or the ability to obtain one is required)
