Responsibilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Technical Writing, Business Administration, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5 years of business or technical writing experience and working knowledge of multiple software and graphics packages. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of IT documentation. Translates technical and/or complicated information into clear, concise documents appropriate for various target audiences. Collaborates with engineers, system administrators, and product teams to gather technical information and translate it into clear, concise documentation. Interviews with subject matter experts and technical staff to collect information, prepare written text, and coordinate layout and material organization. Research information such as drawings, design reports, equipment and test specifications to fill any gaps. Creates visual assets such as diagrams, flowcharts, info-graphics, and annotated screenshots to enhance technical content. Manages several ongoing efforts simultaneously Qualifications
