Input steel routings into plant manufacturing systems Lead the disposition of held materials Provide support for Quality Management initiatives, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), corrective actions, and measurement device oversight Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Cleveland plant Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to product quality Coordinate with other quality teams across Cleveland-Cliffs facilities Conduct data analysis to assess and improve product capability Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Materials Science Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership capabilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Effective typing and data entry skills Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science 5+ years of relevant experience Familiarity with Quality Management Systems Experience working in a unionized environment Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
