Responsibilities
Serve in a technical role, under the direction of a Project Manager
Oversee the work of EITs and Junior Project Engineers
Prepare detailed engineering designs for rail projects
Take responsibility for project involvement, ranging from site feasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phase
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years experience in transportation design - railroad projects
PE License. Candidates hired without their PE will have the title of "Rail EIT" and will be expected to obtain their PE for career progression.
MS in Civil Engineering preferred
Experience working with AREMA's Manual for Railway Engineering and other railroad design specifications is a plus
Preference given to local candidates
