Electrical Component Engineer / Electrical Engineer
Lockheed Martin Space, Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, is seeking a Electrical Component Engineer, Senior to join our team in Cape Canaveral, FL. Lockheed Martin Space aims to harness the full potential of space to cultivate innovation, reduce costs, and push the boundaries of what technology can achieve. The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of strategic deterrence. About the Role: Lead and/or assist in the performance of Electrical Component (Parts) Engineering, development and execution of the program Electrical Electronic Electromechanical (EEE) Parts management plan. Evaluate new technologies and work closely with survivability, designers, test and manufacturing engineers, agencies like DLA, Part Manufacturers and Test Labs. Develop and evaluate new and innovative technology to survive in the harshest of environments and most critical strategic systems. Responsibilities: Participate in Electrical / Electronic / Electromechanical (EEE) Parts Engineering technical assignments related to hardware design, manufacture and test. Participate in the selection, qualification, test and failure analysis of EEE Parts. Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, prepare specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports. Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain organization. Basic Qualifications: Experience in the design, analysis, and/or construction of electrical parts and circuits, operation of devices such as relays, hybrids, integrated circuits, transistors, diodes and capacitors. Knowledge of design, functionality, manufacturing, materials and processes used in EEE parts. Experience reviewing engineering drawings and/or specifications and providing guidance to design and test teams. Eligibility to obtain/maintain DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required. Desired Skills: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Materials Engineering with emphasis on electrical parts, semiconductor physics or related field of study. Familiarity with technical requirements (specifications, program plans/requirements, etc.). Experience participating in major program milestone reviews such as PDR and CDR. EEO Statement:
