Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)(M.E.)(P.E) The Sack Company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer in our
Charlotte office . Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with specialized expertise in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, coupled with a strong background in design and engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the implementation of HVAC systems in various projects. This role requires a deep understanding of thermal dynamics, fluid mechanics, and energy efficiency, along with the ability to create innovative and sustainable HVAC solutions. Key Responsibilities: HVAC System Design:
Develop and design HVAC systems in accordance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards. Conduct load calculations and perform system sizing to meet project requirements. Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software for creating detailed HVAC system drawings. Code Compliance:
Ensure that HVAC designs comply with local, state, and national codes and regulations. Stay informed about updates to relevant codes and standards, and apply them to design work accordingly. Performance Analysis:
Conduct performance analysis and simulations for HVAC systems to optimize efficiency and address potential issues. Troubleshoot and resolve design-related challenges during the development and testing phases. Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports. Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
