About the Role: The Quality Engineer (QE) will promote a culture of Continuous Improvement. Responsibilities include implementing quality standards, test methods, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, and developing quality control systems. The QE will collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess current processes, develop improvement plans, and facilitate their implementation. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in quality management, with a strong background in QMS, ISO9001, Quality Tools, and best practices within automotive, electrical, or battery manufacturing environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end Quality processes, report Quality Data, maintain the company's Quality Management Plan, and oversee Quality Management efforts.

Participate in new product launches to address Quality issues early and ensure stakeholder understanding.

Lead quality improvement activities in production.

Ensure documentation meets requirements for suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.

Work with Engineering teams to define process parameters ensuring process capability.

Lead problem-solving efforts for quality failures.

Assess processes and quality systems regularly to ensure consistent performance.

Create non-conformance reports (NCRs) and manage failed materials.

Document inspection results accurately in the MRP system and related forms.

Drive supplier initiatives focused on Continuous Improvement, Lean, Poka-Yoke, 8D, and Six Sigma.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering, or related field.

At least 6 years in Quality Management.

Proficiency with Quality Tools, 8D problem solving, SPC, ANOVA, GR&R, PPAP, Cpk analysis, and measurement tools.

Experience with ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards.

Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D methodologies.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years leading a team.

External Auditor Certification.

Experience in automotive, battery, or electrical manufacturing.
