Mead & Hunt has an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated senior engineer to work with our water/wastewater group in Arkansas. Responsibilities include: Designing water/wastewater facility projects Evaluating and analyzing existing projects Preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects Preparing design computations and quantity estimates Serving as the project manager on various size projects Developing construction cost estimates for projects within the department Attending day and night client meetings as necessary Both public and private sector clients will be served Some travel will be required Successful candidates will have all of the following: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, chemical, environmental or mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university At least eight (8) years of relevant work experience PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in AR within six months of hire Ideal candidates will have any/all of the following: Experience with water/wastewater facilities design (treatment, transmission, collection/distribution, pump stations and storage facilities) Experience with construction administration tasks related to water/wastewater projects Experience with process and hydraulic modeling Project management experience Arkansas Professional Engineering license If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are someone who takes initiative, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.meadhunt.com/careers.
