Overview

Mead & Hunt is looking for a water resources engineer to serve in a technical role on combined sewer system and wastewater collection system projects for the Midwest Civil/Hydrodynamics Department. This full-time position is for a Water Resources Engineer with a background in collection system design and/or modeling to join our team. Responsibilities

Assisting with wastewater and stormwater collection system evaluation, planning, and design projects to solve municipal collection system problems related to combined and sanitary sewer overflows, flooding, collection system aging, and water quality Occasional travel will be required. Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree (or higher) in civil, environmental or related engineering from an accredited college or university AND at least four (4) years of relevant work experience, including collection system analysis or design experience PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in Wisconsin and/or Illinois within 12 months of hire Ideal Candidate

Combined sewer system, CSO reduction, wastewater conveyance or stormwater conveyance experience Proficiency using AutoCAD Civil 3D Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience using software such as PCSWMM, EPASWMM, ICM InfoWorks, or similar is preferred Strong organizational skills Ability to think critically and thoroughly Ability to work independently and take self-initiative Application Process
