Role Overview Responsible for all equipment installations, modifications, plant engineering support, and project engineering. This role will primarily be in the melt shop part of the facility.
Responsibilities
Project engineering: Experience with streamlined Project Management workflows and conducting FEL studies, preliminary evaluation, project design, cost estimation and control, work with Engineering for capital project development, scheduling and coordination, installation and debugging.
Engineering: Analyze equipment failures and design solutions to reduce maintenance costs, assess equipment replacements, establish replacement programs, evaluate maintenance tools and skills, report safety hazards, analyze performance relative to production, implement design changes, train employees and contractors.
Management: Work with Plant Maintenance Area to develop recommendations and budgets, develop short- and long-range objectives, identify training needs, ensure company values and policies are practiced consistently.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3‑5 years of progressive experience in project engineering roles in a heavy industrial environment.
Knowledge of general plant construction practices, building construction, and equipment installation.
Knowledge of OSHA and general EPA regulations.
Must be available for emergencies and work off‑shift hours as needed.
Experience in the chemical, steel, or cement industry is ideal.
Work Environment Manufacturing facility for Metal Powders.
Pay & Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.48/hr.
