Brief Description Sonix is seeking an experienced Senior Product Lifecycle Engineer who will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle of our scanning acoustic microscope platform from conception to end-of-life. This person will work with our global team to manage the evolution of our product platform and ensure we keep pace with the requirements of our broad customer base. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: product lifecycle management, engineering change management and compliance with industry regulations and standards. Leading projects and RBS initiatives with our commercial, design engineering and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure we have a sustainable and competitive product lineup. The engineer will also assist our global service team with sustaining engineering activities to ensure our product meets customer requirements and will collaborate with multiple internal and external partners. Travel to visit customers and vendors is possible to gather feedback and manage the product portfolio. Responsibilities

Leverage strong product lifecycle management skills to manage our product portfolio, ensuring smooth transitions of new products to the market and coordination between the commercial, design engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams. Manage lifecycle of released platforms for feature requests, engineering changes, configuration management, compliance with industry standards and regulations, documentation control, non-conformance or waiver approvals, and end-of-life management. Understand system-level, electrical and mechanical issues reported by the field or operations and relay relevant information to the design engineering team. Monitor quality and failure trends for installed systems and implement corrective actions. Lead or facilitate RBS initiatives to ensure a robust, competitive product platform meeting customer needs. Lead or facilitate cross-functional meetings to brainstorm solutions, troubleshoot problems, and keep projects on track. Report project status to management and identify risks, proposing countermeasures to maintain timelines. Visit customers to gain insights into tool usage and opportunities for improvement to meet and exceed expectations. Manage system certifications to ensure safety guidelines and ISO conformance; ensure documentation is current and properly stored. Train production and field service personnel to support new product platforms and features. International and domestic travel up to ~25%. Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ engineering experience in product lifecycle management and product development. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering preferred. Experience in technical project management, including maintaining schedules and cross-functional interfacing. Experience with Regulatory Compliance (e.g., SEMI, UL, RoHS). Experience in the semiconductor industry with test and measurement equipment is a strong plus. Experience designing equipment for cleanroom environments is a strong plus. Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to communicate requirements and troubleshoot. Strong problem solving and analytical skills; good time management and ability to prioritize multiple projects. Commitment to quality, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, listening and leadership skills. Proficient with MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint. U.S. work authorization required.
