Industrial Control System Operational Technology Engineer
to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. This position will work collaboratively in the development and presentation of course material for Industrial Control System/Operational Technology (ICS/OT) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and how cyber effects interact with those systems. The candidate will be skilled in manufacturing automation design, integration, engineering, cyberspace operations, cybersecurity, troubleshooting, and programming. They will have some experience presenting material in a classroom environment. The candidate will have exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and in team environments. They will be proactive, resourceful, and highly motivated with good communication skills and the ability to work in a high-output environment. Job Duties: Research and curriculum development to include building lab environments that are realistic and would typically be found in the different 16 Critical Infrastructure Sectors (CIS). Make recommendations for updates and corrections to course material, software, tools, and labs. Collaborate with colleagues to develop new course material requested by the customer. Qualifications Required Education: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree. Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have intermediate to advanced experience with the following technical skills: Programming and design skills in PLC, HMI, and SCADA. Knowledge with ANSI/ISA standards. Systems analysis tasks. Control systems design. Safety standards in control system environments. Working knowledge of ICS protocols such as: Modbus, DNP3, BACnet, MQTT. Linux commands. PowerShell. Scripting (e.g. Python, bash, PowerShell). Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, Google Cloud, AWS). ICS/OT cyber threats and vectors. Intrusion analysis and frameworks (Diamond Model, intrusion kill chains, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.) Host-based and/or network-based analysis. SIEM applications. Incident response in ICS/OT networks. Clearance: Candidates must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
