Automotive Technician:
Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection process on every customer vehicle Assist in inventory management and general store duties Perform services in accordance with Monro’s safety standards and procedures Test drive vehicles following company policy and local traffic laws Maintain technical knowledge through required Monro University training Operate and maintain equipment safely according to manufacturer guidelines Perform other duties as assigned
General Service Technician:
Perform basic routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications Deliver exceptional 5-star service through effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions Ensure guest expectations for time commitments and quality are consistently met
Qualifications
Automotive Technician:
High School Diploma or equivalent Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or equivalent experience ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred Current valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR; ability to operate customer vehicles for test drives Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program
General Service Technician:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Current valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR; ability to operate customer vehicles for test drives
Salary & Benefits
Salary ranges: Automotive Technician: based on experience; $25-$38 per hour flat rate General Service Technician: $16.00-$17.00 per hour based on experience; additional incentives may apply Performance-based incentives Paid vacation and holidays for full-time teammates Reimbursement for ASE Certifications and for State Inspection Licenses where applicable 401(k) eligibility immediately upon hire Direct Deposit, Employee Discounts, Healthcare, Vision, and Dental for full-time teammates Career advancement opportunities Additional Information
